Growing up as an only child in the coastal town of Napier, New Zealand, Kelsey was adept at keeping herself entertained. Her time was spent on activities where she could learn, explore, and dive into a sense of escapism. With a strong connection to animals and nature, she was rarely away from either for long. She has many interests, but illustration is where her true passion lies. Stories, whether they
be told through movies, books, or games, are a powerful source of inspiration.   

When Kelsey realised that illustration could be a career, her life took a definite direction. She studied Visual Communications Design at Massey University. Her days are filled to the brim with creative projects, both professional and personal, usually with a cat by her side.
